The Minack Open Air Theatre is one of the most beautiful settings one can find anywhere in the World. Perched high on the Cliffs , with the stunning blue sea of the Atlantic Ocean, and the wonderful coastal vista of Porthcurno Bay with Logan Rock as a backdrop. The theatre was the inspiration and life’s work of one remarkable woman, Rowena Cade.

"Minack" in Cornish means a rocky place and the black headed crag below the theatre has always drawn local fishermen. Until the 1930’s they had the gorse filled gully to themselves and the cliffs echoed to the cries of gulls not actors.

If you are traveling down to Lands End, a popular tourist attraction it's worth visiting the Minack and Porthcurno Bay... a beautiful part of cornwall.
