I was fortunate to be invited to photograph the official cheque presentation from the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance appeal which took place at the Steve Ford airbase, Eaglescott in North Devon. Listeners over the last two years have raised over £725,000 which exceeded the appeal target of £600,000. The surplus money over the will go towards maintaining the new helicopter, plus some specialist equipment needed. It was an emotional day for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and BBC Radio Devon who where joined by many patients and fundraiser's throughout the day. We were also treated to 3 acoustic tracks from band The South who you might know better as the Beautiful South which I thoroughly enjoyed.
