The University of Exeter commissioned me to update the tour of the Harrison Building on Streatham Campus. The Harrison Building holds the departments for Engineering, Computing and Mathematics. I originally produced the tour a few years ago but have been back many times to update it as rooms are updated and the tour expanded. I have really enjoyed producing the images, some are quite challenging involving students in shot. Due to the nature of 360 virtual tour photography it is often not possible to use flash to help balance the light, so longer exposures and HDR (high dynamic range) techniques have to be used. This then becomes problematic when there is movement in the shot, people often have to stand quite still while being photographed.
The areas photographed are really interesting spaces, ideal for 360 interactive photography like this. There is something to see in nearly all parts of the image. I understand the virtual tours on the university website are one of the most visited pages of there site and offer great value to them. I have produce many of the virtual tour photographs across the University of Exeter website, for both there Exeter and Cornwall sites. Looking forward to working with them again soon.

Below is a testimonial from Matthew Hilling at the University:
"Working with Peter Stephens has been a pleasure. He is accommodating, relaxed and very easy to work with. The photos are of top class quality and he always captures the moment (action or still) in just the right way. The finished virtual tour is exactly as per our specification and was completed within the requested time frame. I would recommend Peter as an excellent photographer with the technical skills to match."
