Over the weekend I was booked to photograph a hotel in Paignton which was the same weekend as the Torbay Airshow. I knew in the back of my head that the airshow was on… but completely forgot about it when booking the job in the diary. The first I knew about it on the day was when I came across blocked roads… apparently I needed a pass. The hotel was on the sea front and most of the roads where blocked off… I did find a way through though, and made it to the hotel on time for the photoshoot. After the photography was completed I was allowed up on the roof which gave me an awesome view of Paignton seafront.
The photography isn’t upto the standards of professional aviation photographers, I need longer lenses for that sadly. Though they are fun to do.
Below you can see a panorama I took on my phone from the top of the hotel.
